The Ingles 4th of July Celebration.  Downtown Asheville. Martin Luther King Park

• Black Mountain/Montreat: Montreat will host a parade in late morning. Black Mountain will have family fun and fireworks that night. Mix 96.5 House Band performing in downtown Black Mountain..7-9pm preceding the Fireworks.

• Brevard: Fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

• Cherokee Powwow: Fireworks at 9 p.m Cherokee Indian fairgrounds.

Fontana Dam: The Fourth in the Forest fireworks show starts at dark.

• Franklin: The celebration starts at 11 a.m. and includes games, helicopter rides, horseshoe tournament and music. Fireworks will be at dark.

• Hendersonville: The downtown parade starts at 1 p.m.; the annual Fabulous Fourth celebration starts at 2 p.m. at Jackson Park. Fireworks at dark.

• Mars Hill: The town and the local Veterans of Foreign Wars are teaming up for a celebration with food served starting at noon. Music and fireworks at dark.

• Sylva: Celebration starts at 6:30 p.m. downtown, with music and fireworks at dark.

• Waynesville: The Stars and Stripes Celebration runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. along Main Street with music and sidewalk sales.
