According to a new study, losing weight improves your MEMORY. Maybe because your brain stays active reminiscing about how delicious cakes, fries, and gravy used to be?
Researchers at Umea University in Sweden gave women a memory test . . . then gave them the same test after they dropped an average of about 18 pounds.
They found that after the weight loss, the women did BETTER on the test . . . and brain scans showed they were better at storing and recalling memories.
The researchers say it’s another sign that gaining weight affects your brain chemistry . . . but it’s also a promising sign that memory loss is reversible.
