The Mix 96.5 “FLA Getaway” Contest (the “Contest”) will be conducted May 11th to May 31st, 2013 (“Contest Period”), by Mix 96.5 (“Mix 96.5” includes Saga Communications of North Carolina, LLC, and Saga Communications, Inc., including its officers, directors and stockholders).

These rules, plus those bulleted below, comprise the rules for this Contest:
• Mix 96.5 Generic Contest Rules, Mix 96.5’s On-Air Contest Rules, Mix 96.5’s Privacy Policy. (In the event specific “FLA Getaway” contest rules may conflict with any “generic” or “on-air” rules, the “Mix Getaway” rules will apply.)

Copies of the rules are available at www.mix965asheville.com and during normal business hours, at the WOXL studios, 1190 Patton Ave, Asheville NC 28806. These documents, which are incorporated herein by reference, have important information about eligibility, the station’s responsibilities, the entrant’s responsibilities, the winner’s responsibilities, tax ramifications, and more. WOXL will award the prizes to entrants who meet the eligibility requirements and follow all of the rules. WOXL reserves the right to postpone or extend the Contest dates. Rules are subject to change without notice, although revised rules will be posted as soon as possible. No purchase necessary to enter or to win.

CONTEST NAME, DURATION, and PRIZES
• The Mix 96.5 “FLA Getaway” Contest (The Contest) will be conducted from Saturday, May 11th to Friday, May 31st, 2013.
• Finalists will be eligible to win one of three Grand Prize trips to Florida. Each Grand Prize pack will include two US Airways airfare vouchers from the Asheville Regional Airport valued at $500 each plus a Florida vacation package as detailed below:
o 5/13/13-5/17/13 the finalists randomly selected during this week will be eligible to win the airline vouchers plus three nights’ accommodation with breakfast buffet at the Sonesta ES Suites Orlando valued at $627.00 and 4 admission passes for ½ hour airboat tour from Boggy Creek Airboat Rides valued at 107.80. The total value of this Grand Prize Package is $1734.80.
o 5/20/13 – 5/24/13 the finalists randomly selected during this week will be eligible to win the airline vouchers plus three nights’ accommodation, one hour cocktail time, beach cabana, unlimited High Tide Slide use and one breakfast for four at Guy Harvey Outpost in St. Petersburg, a Tradewinds Beach Resort valued at $1200.00. The total value of this Grand Prize Package is $2200.00.
o 5/27/13 -5/31/13 the finalists randomly selected during this week will be eligible to win the airline vouchers plus three nights’ accommodation and access to the resort’s water park at CoCo Key Hotel and Water Resort in Orlando valued at $350.00.The total value of this Grand Prize Package is $1350.00.
• Only one winner will be selected to receive each of the 3 the Grand Prize Packages.
• The Grand Prize winners will be able to pick up the vouchers for the Grand Prizes from the studios of Mix 96.5 located at 1190 Patton Ave, Asheville NC, 28806 on a business day within (30) calendar days of winning the Contest.
• The US Airways vouchers are valid for flights in the continental US only.
• Florida vacation package certificates will be valid for twelve months from the end of the promotion (May 31, 2014) and may include traditional blackout periods. Redemption instructions will accompany all certificates.

METHODOLOGY
• Mix 96.5 will allow listeners to register for the contest online at Mix965Asheville.com starting on Saturday, May 11th through Friday, May 31st at 4:20pm. A qualifying entry will include full name, email address, phone number and birthdate.
• Then beginning on Monday, May 13th through Friday, May 31st at 4:20pm, Mix 96.5 will randomly select entries from those submitted online and announce the names Monday through Friday at approximately 8:20am, 12:20pm, and 4:20pm. There will not be names announced on Monday, May 27th (Memorial Day). Listeners whose names are announced will have 15 minutes to call the WOXL studio line at 828-240-9650 and speak to a Mix 96.5 representative to confirm they are a finalist for the FLA Giveaway Contest. Finalists who call back in time and confirm their finalist status will be eligible to win the Grand Prize Package being given away in the week their name is called. There could be a total of 15 on-air finalists each week.
• At 4:45pm on the Friday of each contest week, Mix 96.5 will randomly select one of the eligible finalists and award the Grand Prize package. The winner’s name will be announced on-air at Mix 96.5 at 5:20pm and the winner will also be contacted via telephone before 5:30pm on that Friday. There will be a Grand Prize package awarded on Friday, May 17th, 24th and 31st.
• Qualifiers must meet all Mix 96.5 eligibility requirements, including those set out below.
• Qualifier entries are non-transferable.

ELIGIBILITY
• Contest is open to all eligible people who live or work within 100 air miles of Mix 96.5’s Asheville office and age 18 or over as of the date they qualify, except employees, their immediate families, LLC members, officers, directors and stockholders of Mix 96.5, its parent companies, any other radio station listed in the FCC Geographic Market Definition for Asheville, NC (as published by BIA) or any of the affiliates, sponsors and agencies involved in the production or distribution of materials for this Contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
• One Qualifier per household will be permitted to participate in the Contest. Household is defined as those living in the same residence, even if not related by blood or marriage.
• Mix 96.5’s standard prohibition against winning more than one station contest within 30 days is suspended for this Contest only.
• Mix 96.5 reserves the right to disqualify any Contestant if the Contest rules have been violated.

VALUE OF PRIZES
• All winners assume financial obligations for local, state and federal taxes and all applicable fees based on the value of the prize. Delivery charges are not included.
• In accordance with IRS regulations, Mix 96.5 will provide any winner receiving a prize(s) valued at $600 or more in a given calendar year, with a copy of IRS Form 1099 (miscellaneous income).
• Subject to the qualifications herein, the approximate value of the Grand Prizes vary from $1525 to $2200 based on the total value reflected from the Asheville Regional Airport and Florida vacation partners.
• Prizes are non-transferable, non-assignable, non-exchangeable and not redeemable for cash unless otherwise noted and agreed upon in writing by an authorized officer of Mix 96.5.

DECISION OF THE JUDGES; ACCESS TO RULES

Mix 96.5′s News Director Bill McClement has covered a lot of news stories for the radio over the years and has seen first-hand how families have been helped back on their feet thanks to the help given to them by you, as neighbors. The Mountain Area Chapter of the American Red Cross uses your donations to help these folks every year.

The Red Cross has called upon Bill to help rally your assistance for the victims of house fires and other natural disasters here in Western North Carolina by making a donation to the 2013 Mountain Area Chapter of the American Red Cross Heroes Campaign.

Each year, the Red Cross helps hundreds of people in the region get back on their feet after disaster strikes. All of the money donated to this year’s fund stays right within a 16 county region of Western North Carolina. The Red Cross uses these funds to provide temporary lodging, food, clothing and other essentials for families burned out of their houses or apartments. Victims of flooding and other disasters also receive help.

Donations may be made in any amount, big or small. You can make out a check to: the AMERICAN RED CROSS, and mark Heroes Campaign in the memo portion.
